The Ateneo de Naga University Instructional Media Center was packed with lovers of local literature, culture, and history for the Harampangan Asin Pintakasi Nin Mga Libro held last 25 January 2010 at 3:00 PM. The forum was a part of the Philosophy Department's series of talks in its departmental Week, Kristian Sendon Cordero, a multi-awarded Bikolano writer, facilitated the event.
Seven (7) speakers were invited to share their thoughts on various fields regarding writing and history, each provided great depth and pointed out the vast potential regarding the local literary flavor. The speakers of the forum were Dr. Danilo Gerona (Writing History as a Local), Dr. Paz Verdades Santos (Writing About Women, Writing as a Woman), Frank Peñones, Jr. (To Write is to Persist: Bikol Literature in the '70s to the Present), Victor Nierva (The Writer as Advocate, the Poem as Voice), Engr. Abdon Balde, Jr. (Writing Outside the Academe), Adrian Remodo (Writing the Body as a Wonderland), and Fr. Wilmer Tria (Writing Philosophy in Bikol).
 
The event also served as a re-Launch of two titles: Ako Asin Kapwa Ko: An Pilospiya Nin Tawo by Fr. Wilmer Tria and Pusuanon: Mga Bersong Bikol by Kris Kordero. Guests were also invited to read excerpts from the two books.
