18 September 2009—it was a spectacular sight to behold. Amidst the unpredictable weather and traffic, the Ateneo de Naga University Community danced in merriment to prepare the people in prayer for the Novena and Sponsored Mass. Presented by the College PE students, clad in their blue and gold uniforms, a joyful movement of dance and music was shown within the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral Compound.
The Salve Regina started with the college participants forming as early as 2:00 pm at the Compound. The High School Students soon arrived to enter the Church at 3:00pm, creating an unexpectedly astounding picture of white and blue flowing in the middle of golden yellow. A Novena was held as soon as the participants had filled up the Church, it was then followed by a Mass sponsored by the AdNU Community. Fr. Jun Embile, S.J. was the main presider.
