Three (3) AdNU programming teams joined the 2009 ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (Asia Manila) last 22-23 October 2009 at the Ateneo de Manila University.
Each team was composed of three (3) BS Computer Science/Information Technology students and their Coach. The Ateneo de Naga University sent Teams Xavier, Ignatius, and Faber to join the contest this year. They are:

Sixty-seven (67) team from twenty-three (23) schools in Asia (including schools from Singapore, Vietnam, and Hong Kong) participated in the contest. Each group was given ten (10) programming challenges for the contestants to solve within a given time limit.
The Ateneo de Naga University won 5th place in the Nationals. The university also won 9th place in the ACM ICPC Asia-Manila Category which is a historical first for the school.
